On June 25, 2009, the Hamburg city center branch of the Ministry of Labor (Agentur für Arbeit) presented a job fair in a class of its own. Together with 22 exhibitors, amongst them top in Time, the ministry offered many positions for engineers and skilled technicians. Exceptional about the fair: the ministry had matched the open positions of the exhibiting companies with the profiles of the applicants from the central database for engineers and skilled technicians. This provided top in Time the chance to talk to some very qualified new applicants.

Each year, the Public School for Aerospace (Staatliche Gewerbeschule Fertigungs- und Flugzeugtechnik mit der Fachschule Luftfahrttechnik at Hamburg, Germany) initiates a job fair, in order to intensify the contact between their aerospace students and aerospace companies, where economics and academia meet. top in Time was one of the companies that presented several job profiles and gave insight into the requirements that an aerospace technician has to fulfill.

Since April 2009, Dennis Uthenwoldt has been supporting our company as an HR Recruiter. Together with Mike Tuechter he handles all incoming applications and takes care of requests from job applicants. In addition to this, he and Mike often take part at recruiting fairs and represent top in Time and its special temp work services. Thanks to his expertise in Human Resources and personnel management, combined with certification as an HR specialist (Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and his experience in temporary work agencies (especially in the placement of highly qualified personnel) he is a professional contact person for all questions applicants may have.

Since mid-February, top in Time is one of the official sponsors of a social project from the Reinbek temp work agency's neighborhood. The company is assuming a portion of the costs for a mini van that can be used free of charge by social facilities of the region for their daily tours. As part of the project, top in Time and the other sponsors had the chance to advertise on the van. The top in Time ads can be seen on the side windows.

On 22 January 2009, top in Time took part in the job fair meet@htw-dresden at the University of Applied Sciences Dresden (Hochschule fuer Technik und Wirtschaft Dresden). The fair is conceptually designed for technical and engineering students from Dresden and the greater Dresden area. top in Time used this platform to inform the students about open positions and top in Time's customer projects at the beautiful city of Hamburg and its surroundings.

Now it's official: top in Time is one of the best employers in the Hamburg metropolitan region and ranks seventh in the competition "Hamburg's Best Employers 2009". The competition, initiated by the famous newspaper "Hamburger Abendblatt" (amongst others), is based on a survey of employees by an independent research institute. The questionnaires are filled in anonymously and the employees rate how pleased they are with what are known as "soft skills" of the company. They have to answer questions regarding the company's communication policy, reliability and promptness of the handling of employees' questions, quality of their superiors and much more. The more pleased the employees the better the company's ranking.

Due to the increased number of employees and the related increase of work in the back office of the Reinbek temp work agency, top in Time has decided to augment support for the back office team of Andrea Schroeter and Janine Looks as of summer 2008. The specialist agency for highly qualified technicians and engineers to this end has employed an apprentice in the area of office adminstration, who joined the team on 4 August 2008. The new colleague, Julia Palasz, is 16 years old and successfully graduated from secondary school in June 2008. Bit by bit, she will be introduced into customer and employee support and will back up the reliable back office team.

The Reinbek personnel service company has been certified according to ISO 9001:2000 for many years and has now achieved a new certificate: the SCP Certificate (Safety Certificate Personnel Leasing), which is essential for the mineral oil processing industry and the mechanical and plant engineering industry. The SCP certificate stands for the implementation of a work, health and environment management system at personnel service agencies and is regarded as a quality mark and seal of approval for personnel service orders within the mineral oil processing industry. Thanks to the certification, top in Time is in a position to offer its highly qualified employees from the engineering, technical and commercial sector to customers with especially high requirements regarding work safety. In the course of the certification, all top in Time employees working in these industries had to take part in SCP trainings at the TUEV Rheinland and had to pass the SCP tests.
2008-01-01 Foundation of CAS
top in Time and two further companies in the personnel service industry have founded the company CAS (Corporate Aviation Services). CAS is one of the main personnel suppliers (referred to as a "First Level Supplier") of the aircraft manufacturer Airbus and will coordinate personnel services at all German Airbus locations. top in Time thus emphasizes its position as supplier of highly qualified personnel in the temporary employment market and has set up a team for CAS that will take care of customer support around the clock. "By founding CAS, top in Time is looking toward the future and further strengthens its position in the personnel service market", explains Rainer Rudzki, managing partner of top in Time and one of the three managing directors of CAS.
