top in Time Ranks among Hamburg's Best Employers 2009

If you are looking for a new job, you not only want to know as much as possible about your new position and tasks, but as much as possible about your future employer as well. Measurable, comparable data such as number of employees, turnover, salary for the new position, customer references, etc. can be investigated quite easily, but what are even more important are the soft skills.

What is he like, my new employer? Once I have signed the contract, will I be just a personnel number or will they care about me? Will I have to call again and again in order to finally get my travel expenses reimbursed or is the administration team as fast and reliable as promised? And will they still support me when I try to change jobs within the company? In short: What kind of personality is behind the company name?

Normally, you can answer all these questions yourself only after you have already started with a company. For top in Time, that's different! The temp work agency from Reinbek near Hamburg has just been voted one of Hamburg's best employers and could win seventh place in the 2009 competition for companies in the Hamburg metropolitan region.

It was the employees of the Hamburg companies themselves who anonymously evaluated the firms. They had to state how pleased they were with different soft skills of their companies.

The competition was initiated by the famous Hamburg journal "Hamburger Abendblatt" (among others), who have asked an independent research institute to lead the survey each year. "We are very proud that a mid-sized company like ours has ranked so high," states top in Time Managing Director Matthias Foedisch. "We are pleased to hear that our employees are obviously happy with us. Furthermore, we appreciate the fact that this neutral seal of approval offers applicants the chance to obtain insight into the character of a company before they apply for a job. Nevertheless, we will not rest on our laurels. New measures for further improvement of personnel administration and satisfaction have already been planned for upcoming months."
